I Work for Businesses That Are Done Guessing.
I'm Waseem Khan — a direct response copywriter for founders and marketing teams who've learned the hard way that confident-sounding copy isn't the same as copy built on evidence. This page is less about my biography and more about how I work — because that's the thing you're actually hiring.
Copy Doesn't Fail Because It's Badly Written.
It fails because it's badly informed. Most underperforming pages I read are grammatically clean, professionally toned, and completely disconnected from what their buyers actually think, fear, and want. The writer never found out — so the page guesses, politely, in every paragraph.
Research without craft is a report, not copy. Craft without research is beautiful noise that doesn't sell. The enemies aren't "beautiful writing" — they're guesswork, which replaces research, and templates, which replace craft. Every project here rejects both shortcuts, and the research document you receive with your copy is the proof that neither one happened.
That's also why I'd rather show you a free audit than a list of adjectives about myself. Claims are cheap in this industry — you've probably paid for some. Evidence isn't.
What Every Piece of Copy Here Is Held To.
Open any one — each standard exists because of a specific way clients get burned in this industry.
Public AI Policy
"How do I know you won't just use AI to write my copy?"
You shouldn't have to wonder — so here's the policy, public and permanent, and it goes into every contract:
Your copy is written by me, by hand. Every headline, every line. The craft you're paying for is the craft you get.
AI is a research assistant, not a writer. I may use it to sort and organize large volumes of research material — transcripts, reviews, tickets. It does not generate the copy, the strategy, or the messaging decisions.
You can verify this. Because every line traces to documented customer language in your research file, the copy is checkable against its sources — something AI-generated copy can't offer, because it has no sources.
If the policy ever changes, clients hear it first. In writing, before any project it would affect.
The Industry Earned Your Skepticism.
Talk to founders about hiring copywriters and the same stories repeat: the writer who oversold their skills, the one who stopped answering emails, the AI-generated pages that read fine and sold nothing, the "copy that converts" promise that didn't. If you arrive at this site suspicious, you're not being cynical — you're being accurate.
I built my practice around that reality instead of pretending it away. It's why the audit is free and comes first. It's why the research ships with the copy. It's why the prices are public, the scope is fixed, and the AI policy is in writing. Every one of those choices exists so you never have to take my word for anything — the work argues for itself, at every step, before and after you pay.
If that sounds like the kind of working relationship you've been looking for, the next step doesn't cost anything: send me a page, and judge the thinking yourself.
